Starting in 9th grade, students participate in an annual Career Week and complete self-assessments that help them understand their personality types, learning styles, work values, and interests. In 10th grade, students utilize the insights gained from these self-assessments to delve deeper into their pathway options. Throughout the first semester, they participate in a series of presentations, advisories, and creative workshops designed to introduce them to our academic pathways.
This comprehensive process culminates in a personalized family meeting, where counselors collaborate with students and their families to develop a unique educational plan tailored to the student’s interests and future aspirations. This plan takes into account teacher recommendations, past academic performance, and long-term goals, ensuring that each student is well-supported in their journey.
