The Board of Directors is formally inviting you to participate in the school's strategic planning process to determine the future of the International School of Panama.  
 
Here is how you can participate:
 
Step One:   Please start by completing the on-line survey through the following link:

Step Two:  MARK YOU CALENDARS for a Community Meeting set for Saturday, November 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at ISP.  This is an important element of the planning process for developing the new Strategic Plan for our school.  Your participation in this community-wide planning event will include:
 
1.  Gathering in small groups to offer your ideas, suggestions and feedback on the future of ISP
2.  Indicating which areas of the strategic plan development hold particular interest for you
 
Three years ago a similar Community Meeting was held.  It was critical for the development of the current strategic plan and led to very important decisions undertaken by ISP over the last several years.  Come be part of setting the strategic direction of your school.
 
Bi-lingual interpreters will be at the meeting to assist with translation as needed.  We ask that students younger than 5th grade not attend the meeting so that we may focus our time and hear your opinions most effectively.

Paso 2:  ANOTEN EN SUS CALENDARIOS que se celebrará una reunión con la comunidad el sábado 21 de noviembre de 8:30 a.m. a 10:30 a.m. en ISP.  Este es punto importante en el desarrollo de un nuevo Plan Estratégico.  Su participación en esta reunión abierta toda la comunidad escolar incluirá:
 

1.        Reuniones en grupos pequeños para intercambiar ideas, sugerencias y recibir retroalimentación sobre el futuro de ISP.

2.        Indicación de las áreas que ustedes consideren de particular interés que deben ser incluidas en el plan estratégico

Hace tres años se llevó a cabo una reunión similar, la cual fue esencial para el desarrollo de este plan  y que sirvió para tomar decisiones importantes durante estos últimos años.  Únanse a  nuestros esfuerzos con miras a establecer las estrategias a seguir para el desarrollo futuro de esta, su escuela.
 
En la reunión tendremos intérpretes bilingües para ayudarlos con la traducción, según sea necesario.  Para que podamos hacer mejor uso del tiempo y tener la oportunidad de escuchar las opiniones de manera más eficiente, solicitamos que participen estudiantes de 5o. grado en adelante.
